This morning I woke up at 7:18 and then around 9 we went to a cafe. I had a 'Crossant de Nutela' and water. Tino (11yrs old) and Emmanuel (16 yrs old) go to a military school, so they went to school and weren't with us for breakfast. After breakfast we went to their other house on their ranch. They have 3 horses and Florentino (Father of my host, Florivet) and his brother rode 2 of the 3 horses. The other horse ran around. I got to ride a little bit, Florivet's uncle guided my horse. Florentino drove us back to the house and I did a little homework. Soon after we went to get 'el helado' (ice cream). Then we returned home again. I did some more homework, and then we went to have lunch at a friends house. I had this creamy soup and then a plate of rice with octupus, shrimp, and clams. I was full by then so I didn't get to eat mole with meat. Angel (2 yrs old) wanted to go out to play so Tino, Emmanuel, Flor and I went outside and we played and talked and played games. It was really fun.
After Gabriela (mother of Flor) and Florentino were done, we went to the park to watch Tino and Emmanuel climb with their class.
There was a party for a girl who turned 3, and we went. There were people playing instruments and lots of guests! Florivet said that when you turn 3 your parents make a big deal. The cake was literally taller than me, it was Barbie decorated.
Today a great first day! I won't be writing up every night. But I will put up highlights! Tomorrow we don't have school because it's a national holiday. I love it here so far!
